Situated against stunning views of Little Pond Cove, this stately Little Compton home drew its original inspiration from a charming cottage that existed previously on the property. In collaboration with ZDS architects, our teams worked closely to ensure that antique elements fit seamlessly into a clean new design. The finished product radiates freshness interwoven with personal references to time passed, all the while ensuring that the client’s singular vision remained constant throughout the home.

As experts in the field of preservation and restoration, our clients were thrilled when materials salvaged from their beloved cottage were reused as intentional design elements in their new home. Reclaimed paneling and antique accents in juxtaposition with expansive windows and contemporary appliances highlight the beauty of conservation emphasized in each Arkins design + build project. Through thoughtful architecture and masterful construction, Little Pond Cove is once again home to a family who will cherish their space for generations to come.
